10 March: London protest for Tibetan National Uprising Day of 1959

On Sunday 10 March, join Tibetans and supporters to protest and mark the 65th anniversary of the 1959 Tibetan National Uprising. Workers Against the CCP will join our affiliate, Global Alliance for Tibet & Persecuted Minorities - you can read more about the day here on their website.

Gather 10:30am: The protest will first gather and rally opposite Downing Street from 10.30am.

March from ~12 noon: Around midday, we will march via Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus to the Chinese Embassy (49-51 Portland Place W1B 1JL).

Rally at Chinese Embassy 1pm: We will rally opposite the Chinese Embassy from around 1pm.

Commemoration Event 3pm: After the rally, the annual Tibetan commemoration event will be held at the Indian YMCA, 41 Fitzroy Square, London, W1T 6AQ. Tibetan food will also be served.
